August’s Audiobooks That Are at the Top of My List

As I’ve cycled between audiobooks, ebooks, and physical books these last few years, a personal pattern has emerged. I’ve noticed that certain genres, and even subgenres, work better for me as audiobooks rather than physical or ebooks, and vice versa. Then there are the books where I mix and match. When it comes to my usual audiobook fare, though, I gravitate towards mysteries, thrillers, romances, and nonfiction. In fact, listening to nonfiction audiobooks has helped me read more nonfiction in general, which is something I’ve had as a personal goal for years. If your book club is looking to get into new titles and is down for an audiobook, the following are new books out this month that are at the top of my list to listen to.
