Help A Bitch Out This HaBO is from Julia, who wants to find this contemporary romance: I just remembered this book and have been looking through my purchases and goodreads shelves trying to find it. What I remember is it’s set in a contemporary time and two strangers get married and part ways that day. I think the bride might have been sent by her father or another male relative. A year or up to 5 years later she ends up needing to move in with him, which is how they get to know each other and fall in love. I might have just made this connection in my head but vibe wise it’s like a modern A Wicked Husband by Mia Vincy. I might be making that connection stronger in my head retrospectively though. The bride is definitely down on her luck and the groom is cold and I think secretly socially awkward. I know this is a popular trope and there are a variety of possibilities. I know many people who are going to be interested in solving this!
